california specific geology exam - $499
Summary: The California Specific Exam is often referred to as the most difficult of the three exams required for professional registration. This course will give the you the most targeted and focused study material for all the hot topics that make the practice of geology in California unique. We will break down complex subjects, laws, and regulations and summarize each to a handful of things the incoming geologist needs to know.
Recommended Background: This course is not a review of general geology topics and not intended for a new graduate. It is expected that attendees will have several years of general practice. If you are an out of state applicant or have been practicing in California for several years, this is also for you.

ASBOG® Fundamentals of Geology (fg) - $250
Summary: The ASBOG® FG Exam is essentially a comprehensive review of your college geology coursework. You have done this once in college, join Horacio and Dennis as we unlock the knowledge that you already have and remind you of concepts that you’ll need for the FG.
Recommended Background: This course is intended for someone with a degree in geology or earth science. Ideally you are taking this within a year of graduating so that your college material is still near the surface somewhere, but even if it isn’t, no big deal, we’ve got you covered.
Course Length: Around 9 hours plus individual study time.

This is especially important since most geologists tend to specialize in one field of practice, or several related fields. Join Horacio and Dennis as we review the major fields of the practice of geology - your final hurdle to becoming a Professional Geologist.
Recommended Background: This course is recommended for a geologist with several years of professional experience.
